Cook the pasta in plenty of boiling salted water until al dente, rinse and drain. Rinse the nettles. Cook in boiling salted water for about 3 minutes, rinse, drain and finely chop.

Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic.
3.
Melt the butter in a skillet and saute the onion and garlic until translucent. Add the nettles (set aside some for garnish) and pasta. Season with salt and ground pepper to taste, then mix in the freshly grated Parmesan cheese and pine nuts and season with nutmeg. Arrange on plates and serve garnished with blanched nettle shoots, if desired.
