½ onion
1 garlic clove
1 Tbsp butter
2 Tbsps bell pepper paste
2 tsps sweet ground paprika
½ tsp hot ground paprika
100 grams cream cheese
2 Tbsps Greek Yogurt (0.1% fat)
salt
freshly ground peppers
4 slices Whole Wheat Bread
scallions (to sprinkle)

Preparation steps

Peel and finely dice the onion and garlic. Heat the butter in a pan and sauté both for 2-3 minutes. Stir in the pepper paste. Add both varieties of paprika, stir to combine, and cook another 2-3 minutes. Transfer the mixture to a bowl, and cool briefly. Mix in the the yogurt and cream cheese, and mix until thoroughly combined. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Spread on the bread, sprinkle with the chives, and serve.
