½ cup Quark
3 Tbsps milk
0.333 cup butter (at room temperature)
1 tsp salt
1 egg
2 cups flour
2 tsps Baking powder
butter (for the tins)
flour (for dusting)
For the filling
2 Leeks (sliced into strips)
1 Tbsp olive oil
2 Tbsps freshly chopped Chervil
1.333 cups Cocktail tomatoes
3 eggs
cup cream
½ cup Sour cream
1 cup grated Hard cheese (e. g. Gruyère)

Preparation steps

Beat the quark with the milk, butter, salt and egg until smooth. Mix the flour with the baking powder and gradually add to the quark mixture, mixing to a smooth pastry. Chill for one hour.

Meanwhile, for the filling, gently fry the leeks in the oil until translucent. Season with salt and ground black pepper.

Heat the oven to 200°C (180°C in a fan oven), 400°F, gas 6. Butter the tart tins and dust with flour.

Roll out the dough, cut out circles 12 cm in diameter and use to line the tins, pressing in gently. Divide the leeks, chervil and tomatoes between the cases. Whisk together the eggs, cream, sour cream and cheese, season well and pour over the vegetables. Bake for approx. 35 minutes.
