Preparation steps
1.
Preheat oven to 200°C | 400F | gas 6.
2.
Melt the chocolate over a bain-mairie. Melt the butter over a low heat.
3.
Separate the 3 eggs. Whip yolks with the sugar and honey until white and frothy. Add the melted chocolate, sieved flour and cocoa powder. Beat together well.
4.
Roughly crush the nuts. Add melted butter and crushed nuts to cake mixture.
5.
Whip 2 egg whites into peaks and fold into rest of ingredients.
6.
Grease a 900 g | 2 lb loaf tin and pour in mixture. Bake in oven for 30 minutes.
7.
Remove from tin and leave to cool before serving.
