250 grams sugar
75 milliliters Coconut milk
75 grams Rice flour
75 grams Tapioca flour
Food coloring (red, blue and green)

Preparation steps

1.

Boil sugar and 300 ml (approximately 1.2 cups) of water in a pot, then cool. Stir in coconut milk, then stir in rice and tapioca flour. Pour mixture into 4 bowls. Use food coloring dye each bowl of dough a different color, as desired.

Set up a steamer and line it with a cheesecloth. Place half of one color of dough into the steamer nd cover with another cheesecloth. Cook for 10 minutes, then add half of another colored dough. Repeat process until there are 8 colored layers of cake. Remove cake out from steam and let cool completely in the refrigerator. Slice and serve.
