- 50 grams Pastry flour
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 2 tsps salt
- ¼ tsp Turmeric
- 1 tsp Garam Masala
- 1 tsp cilantro
- 1 tsp Chili powder
- 600 grams Kohlrabi
- vegetable oil (for frying)
Preparation
1.
Mix chickpea flour, flour, baking powder and spices in a bowl. Add 300 ml of water whisk until the batter is smooth. Let batter rest for about 30 minutes.

Peel kohlrabi and cut into thin slices. Blach in boiling water for about 2 minutes, drain and pat dry.
3.
Heat the oil until small bubbles appear when a wooden spoon is dipped into it. Dip kohlrabi slices into the batter and fry until golden brown. Drain on paper towels and serve immediately.
4.
Substitutions for kohlrabi include other vegetables such as potatoes, cauliflower, zucchini, etc.
