2 Tbsps soy sauce
150 grams Glass noodles
12 King prawn ready to cook (deveined and peeled down to the tail)
salt
freshly ground peppers
1 egg white
vegetable oil (for frying)

Preparation
1.

Bring the soy sauce and about 1 liter (approximately 1 quart) of water to a boil. Remove from the heat, add in the noodles and let soak for about 5 minutes. Drain the noodles with a colander and leave them in the colander to continue draining. Rinse the prawns, pat dry and season with salt and pepper. Dip each prawn in the egg white, shake some of the egg white off and wrap firmly with  noodles. Place the noodle prawns on a plate and allow to dry for about 15 minutes.

Heat oil in a pot or in a fryer to 170°C (approximately 350°F). The oil is hot enough when bubbles appear and push up a wooden spoon to the top of the oil.

Carefully add each shrimp to the hot oil (beware of hot oil splashes) and fry a few at a time for 2-3 minutes until golden brown. Drain the shrimp on a paper towel and serve.
