Wholemeal Sandwich with Tomato and Bean Filling

- 200 grams white Beans (canned)
- 5 dried Tomatoes (in marinade)
- 1 garlic clove
- salt
- peppers
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- 8 small whole grain bread
- 2 sprigs Basil
Preparation

Rinse the beans in a colander under cold water and drain. Combine the beans, pickled tomatoes and 2-3 tablespoons of tomato marinade in a large mixing bowl. Peel the garlic, cut into small pieces and add to the beans. Purée everything with a hand blender. Season with salt, pepper and lemon juice.

Spread 4 slices of bread with the bean and tomato paste. Rinse the basil, shake dry and shower over the sandwich filling. Cover with the remaining bread slices before serving.
