Rose Petal Milk

- 1 large pesticide-free Rose petal
- 2 ozs Raspberries
- ¾ cup
- liquid Sweetener (to taste)
- Rose water (to taste)
- Ice cubes
Shake rose petals gently to remove any grit. Pluck the petals. Carefully rinse raspberries in a bowl of cold water and drain.
Combine about ¾ of the petals with the raspberries and milk in a blender and mix thoroughly. Season to taste with sweetener and rose water. Pour over ice cubes in a glass and garnish with the remaining petals.

Raspberries not only bring summery flavours but also important minerals such as potassium and magnesium to the glass. Above all, the sweet fruits contain the plant pigment quercetin, which is good for the heart and blood vessels. Also included are many fibres that keep the intestines going.

Please use really only one untreated rose blossom and do not take a rose from your bouquet! Ornamental flowers are often treated intensively with chemicals. However, your florist can certainly provide you with an "organic flower".
