Whisk milk with butter.

Butter an ovenproof pan (about 22 cm ⌀) (approximately 9 inches) and line with half of filo sheets, brushing each with butter mixture.

Crumble goat cheese and spread on pastry, season with freshly ground pepper. Top with remaining filo sheets, brushing each with butter mixture. Press the edges together firmly.

Bake pie in preheated oven at 200°C (approximately 400°F) for about 30 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and serve.
