Chocolate Mousse with Grated Coconut

- 140 grams Coconut flakes
- 125 grams dark Chocolate
- 3 egg whites
- salt
- 200 milliliters Whipped cream
- 3 Tbsps sugar
- Coconut flakes (for garnish)
Preparation

Toast the coconut flakes in a dry skillet until golden. Remove and set aside.

Coarsely chop the chocolate and melt over hot, not boiling water. Remove from heat and let cool.

Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff peaks form. Then, beat the cream with the sugar until stiff and fold in the cooled melted chocolate. Fold in the toasted coconut and egg whites, cover and chill in the refrigerator for 2 hours.

Spoon the mousse in heaps on dessert plates. Garnish with coconut flakes. Serve immediately.
