Ingredients
Apple Crumble Cake
- For the dough
- 7 Tbsps Greek yogurt
- 1 egg
- 2 Tbsps milk
- 3 Tbsps sunflower oil
- 1 ½ tsps Baking powder
- 7 ozs Pastry flour
- For the crumble
- 3 Tbsps Pastry flour
- 3 Tbsps ground almonds
- 2 Tbsps sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 3 Tbsps butter
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
For the dough, combine all ingredients in a bowl and knead until smooth. If necessary, add a little more flour. Grease and flour the bottom of the springform pan.
Peel the apples, cut into quarters, remove cores and cut crosswise into thin slices. Toss with lemon juice and spread evenly over the bottom of the pan.
For the crumble, combine the flour, almonds, sugar, vanilla sugar and butter into a dough, then crumble with fingers. Spread evenly over the apples and bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes.
Remove the cake, allow to cool and serve in pieces dusted with powdered sugar.
