Almond Cream Cheese Spread

- 14 ozs cream cheese
- 3 ½ ozs Whipped cream
- 1 bunch mixed fresh Fresh herbs (such as parsley, oregano, basil, tarragon)
- 1 shallot
- 1 garlic clove
- 3 ½ ozs slivered almonds
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
Mix the cream cheese with the cream until smooth. Rinse the herbs, pat dry, and finely chop. Discard any hard stems. Peel and finely dice the shallot and garlic. Mix all the prepared ingredients into the cream cheese mixture.
Toast the sliced almonds in a dry pan. Remove from the heat and let cool. Mix 2/3 of the almonds into the cream cheese spread. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Sprinkle the cream cheese spread with the remaining almonds and serve immediately.
