Preparation steps

1.

Peel and chop the onions and garlic.

2.

Rinse and halve the peppers, remove the seeds and white ribs and cut into cubes.

3.

Slice the chorizo and sauté it with the onions and garlic. Add the peppers, tomatoes, beans and bay leaf and broth. Simmer, stirring occasionally for 20 minutes, adding more broth if needed. Season with salt and cayenne pepper. Remove the bay leaf before serving.
