2 cloves garlic cloves (minced)
2 Tbsps Tahini
1 tsp ground Cumin
2 Tbsps lemon juice
1 tsp smoked paprika
¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
salt
freshly ground Black pepper
4 white Pita bread

Preparation steps

1.
Combine the chickpeas with the water, garlic, tahini, cumin, lemon juice, and half a teaspoon of smoked paprika in a food processor.

Blitz until smooth, adding a couple of tablespoons of olive oil once the mixture starts to break up and become smooth.
3.
Continue to blitz until smooth. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
4.
Spoon into a serving bowl and garnish with the remaining olive oil and paprika.
5.
Toast the pitta breads under a hot grill before serving with the hummus.
