75 grams soft butter (for greasing pan)
150 grams sugar
2 sour Apple
2 Banana
½ lemon (juice)
4 eggs
1 pinch salt
50 grams Pastry flour
2 Tbsps cornstarch
75 grams ground almonds

Preparation steps

Grease cake pan and with small amount of butter on the edges and very thick on the bottom of the pan. Sprinkle with 50 g sugar (approximately 1/4 cup) over the butter. Peel apples, quarter and core and cut quarters into pieces. Peel banana and cut into pieces. Coat apples and bananas with lemon juice and arrange in a pattern on bottom of pan.

Preheat oven to 200°C (approximately 400°F).

Separate eggs. Beat egg whites with salt until stiff. Beat yolks with remaining sugar until thick and creamy. Fold egg whites into yolks. Sift flour and cornstarch over egg mixture and mix. Carefully fold in ground almonds. Pour batter into pan and spread until smooth. Bake 35-40 minutes or until done.

Remove from over and let cool. To serve, place cake plate on top of pan and flip upside down onto plate.
