Ingredients

For the dough
½ cube Yeast
1 pinch sugar
400 grams Pastry flour
4 Tbsps olive oil
1 tsp salt
For the topping
1 lg can peeled Tomatoes (800 grams)
salt
freshly ground Black pepper
2 tsps dried oregano
125 grams Mozzarella
2 Tbsps olive oil

Preparation steps

For the dough: Mix yeast with 200 ml (approximately 3/4 cup) of lukewarm water and the sugar until smooth. Stir the flour with the oil and salt in a mixing bowl and add the dissolved yeast. Knead into a smooth dough. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 45 minutes.

Divide the dough into 2 portions and on a floured surface, roll out each into a circle. Place on two greased pizza pans, forming a small edge on each.

For the topping: Drain tomatoes, crush with a fork and spread on the pizza crusts. Season with salt, pepper and oregano. Cut mozzarella into small cubes, distribute on the pizzas and drizzle with olive oil. Bake in a preheated oven (225°C) ( approximately 425°F) for about 15 minutes.
