- 600 grams Tofu
- 2 centimeters fresh ginger
- 1 garlic clove
- 2 Tbsps Peanut oil
- 1 tsp Coriander
- 1 tsp Szechuan pepper
- 3 Tbsps soy sauce
- 1 tsp black Bean paste
- 400 grams brown Beans (canned)
- 2 scallions
- Red pepper flakes

Preparation steps

Cut tofu into bite-size cubes. Peel and finely chop the ginger and garlic. Stir-fry together with the tofu in a hot wok in oil for about 4 minutes. Crush the coriander and sichuan pepper in a mortar and sauté briefly. Add 2-3 tablespoons of soy sauce and a little water. Stir the paste and add the drained beans. Let simmer for 5-6 minutes and season with soy sauce.

Rinse and cut the scallions into thin rings. Sprinkle and serve with chili, as desired, over the tofu.
