Tiramisu with Strawberries
Rinse and dry strawberries, remove stems and cut 2/3 of berries lengthwise into quarters and cut remaining berries into slices. Mix strawberry quarters with 2 tablespoons of sugar and cool for 1 hour. Combine mascarpone with vanilla sugar and lemon juice. Whip cream with remaining sugar until stiff and fold into mascarpone.
Crush ladyfingers roughly, place half into 4 glass dessert bowls and sprinkle with half of Amaretto. Arrange half of quartered strawberries and spread 2/3 of cream on top. Repeat layers one more time and top with strawberry slices. Refrigerate for 30 minutes, serve.
