The grape leaves used for stuffed grape leaves with feta cheese provide abundant flavonoids. These plant substances have a protective effect on our body cells, as they can render free radicals harmless. Thanks to their beneficial essential oils, fennel seeds flatter the stomach and make it easier to digest.

Instead of feta, other cheese is also suitable for the recipe, for example, you could prepare with halloumi or gruyere.
