- 500 grams ripe Strawberries
- 450 grams sugar
- Ice cubes
- chilled mineral water
- mint (for garnish)

Preparation steps

Rinse the strawberries, trim, slice 6 berries for garnish and quarter the remaining strawberries. Bring the sugar with 450 ml (approximately 1 3/4 cup) of water in a pot to boil. Simmer for 5 minutes and remove from heat. Press strawberries lightly with a potato masher and let stand for 4 hours.

Strain the syrup through a fine sieve, pour into a bottle and let cool completely.

Pour the lemonade in a glass with 4 ice cubes and a tablespoon of syrup and fill with good cold mineral water. Add some strawberry slices and serve garnished with mint.
