Strawberries are not without reason the star of the early summer. Not only do they taste heavenly, but they are also rich in the immune booster vitamin C as well as secondary plant compounds that put a stop to pathogens and prevent inflammation. The aromatic blackberries are considered small beauty wonders, because with the antioxidant vitamins A and E they have an anti-aging effect on our cells.

When the season for fresh berries is over, you can also use frozen fruits - but then make sure that they do not contain added sugar.
