- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup chopped Nut
- ½ tsp Baking powder
- ½ cup melted butter
- 10 sheets gelatin
- 2 ¼ cups Quark
- ½ cup sugar
- 3 Tbsps lemon juice
- 2 cups cream (at least 30% fat, whipped)
- 3.333 cups Strawberries (some set aside to garnish)
- chopped Nut (to garnish)
- mint (or strawberry leaves)
Preparation steps
1.
Mix together the oats, nuts, cinnamon and butter. Place the mixture into a tin lined with baking paper and spread smoothly. Chill in the fridge.

Soften the gelatine in cold water. Mix together the quark, sugar and lemon juice. Place the gelatine in a pot and dissolve over a low heat. Add the dissolved gelatine the quark mixture and fold in the whipped cream.
3.
Pour half the mixture on top of the oat base and place the strawberries on top. Pour the rest of the cream mixture on top and place the cake in the fridge to set.
4.
Top with the remaining strawberries and sprinkle with the nuts. Garnish with mint leaves or strawberry leaves.
