- ½ cup unsalted butter
- ½ cup light brown sugar
- 1 egg (beaten)
- ¾ cup all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup cocoa powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 3 ozs colored Chocolate bean

Preparation steps
1.
Heat the oven to 180°C (160° fan) 350°F gas 4. Line 2 large baking trays with non-stick baking paper.
2.
Beat the butter and sugar in a mixing bowl until soft and creamy.
3.
Add the egg, flour, cocoa, bicarbonate of soda and oats and mix well.
4.
Roll spoonfuls of the mixture into balls and place well apart on the baking trays. Flatten slightly and press a few chocolate beans into the top of each cookie.
5.
Bake for 10-12 minutes until cooked through. Cool on the baking trays for a few minutes, then place on a wire rack to cool completely.
