250 grams butter (softened)
125 grams sugar
350 grams Pastry flour
1 pinch salt

Preparation steps

1.

Beat the softened butter and sugar until fluffy. Stir in the flour and salt and knead with hands to a smooth dough.

Roll the dough into logs of approximately 4 cm in diameter, wrap in plastic wrap and chill about 30 minutes in the refrigerator.

Preheat the oven to 175°C (approximately 350°F) convection and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Cut the dough into about 1/2 cm (approximately 1/4 inch) thick slices. Place on the baking sheet and bake in the oven for about 10 minutes until golden. Roll in sugar and let cool.

Store the shortbread in a cookie jar for several months.
