- 600 grams small white onions
- 1 Tbsp ground paprika (sweet)
- 2 tsps Tomato paste
- 1 Tbsp Juniper berries
- 2 bay leaves
- 8 Sausage
- 100 grams Bacon
- 150 milliliters Beef stock
- 400 grams Apple
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
- ground paprika (sweet)
- 1 Tbsp sunflower oil

Preparation steps
1.
Cut bacon into small cubes. Peel onion and cut into thick slices. Saute bacon and onions in a pan until onions are golden brown. Season with 1 tablespoon salt and pepper.

Add broth and tomato paste to pan. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes over low heat.

Meanwhile, peel apples, core and cut into eighths. Add apples, bay leaves and juniper berries to the pan and let simmer again for 8-10 minutes. Season heavily with pepper.
4.
Cut sausages into bite sized slices and fry on all sides in a pan with hot oil. Serve immediately by arranging sausages on a plate and covering with onion mixture.
