- For the sauce
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 Red chili pepper
- 2 Tbsps Peanut oil
- 50 grams chopped, unsalted Peanuts
- 400 milliliters unsweetened Coconut milk
- 3 Tbsps salted Peanut butter
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
- For the skewers
- 600 grams Chicken breasts (ready to cook, skinless)
- 2 Tbsps liquid honey
- 1 tsp Sambal oelek
- 1 Tbsp Lime juice
- 1 Tbsp dark soy sauce

Preparation steps

For sauce, peel garlic and rinse chile pepper, remove seeds and cut both small. Heat the oil in a saucepan and sweat the garlic until translucent. Add the chile and peanuts, sauté briefly and pour in coconut milk.

Stir in the peanut butter and let the sauce simmer over medium heat for about 7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste. For skewers, rinse the chicken fillets, pat dry, cut crosswise into strips and place on skewers.

Mix the honey with Sambal olek, lime juice and soy sauce and drizzle on the skewers. Cook on a hot grill until golden brown on all sides. Serve with the peanut sauce.
