Rice Porridge with Avocado
- Ingredients
- 2 heaping Tbsps Rice flake (about 25 grams)
- 1 small ripe Avocado
- 1 Tbsp Apple juice
Stir rice flakes with 150 ml (approximately 1/2 cup) of water in a small pot and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Cook for 1-2 minutes, then remove from heat.
Halve and pit the avocado. Scoop out the flesh and finely chop 60 grams (approximately 1/4 cup). (Sprinkle remainder with a little lemon juice and save for another purpose.)
Stir avocado and apple juice into the rice porridge and mash with an immersion blender, thinning with more water as needed. Check temperature before feeding.
