Preparation steps

Rinse potatoes and cut into thin slices. In a large nonstick pan (use two pans, if needed), fry potatoes in 2-3 tablespoons oil over medium heat, turning occasionally until golden-brown, 20-25 minutes. Peel and slice onion into rings. During the last 10 minutes of the cooking time for the potatoes, add onion rings.
