- 1 small Pumpkin (1-1.5 kg)
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 onions
- 2 Tbsps Peanut oil
- 2 Tbsps Garam Masala
- 1 Tbsp ginger (freshly chopped)
- 500 milliliters Chicken broth
- 200 grams Yogurt (0.1% fat)
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 2 scallions
- 300 grams peeled, cooked shrimp
- salt

Preparation steps

Cut off lid from pumpkin, remove seeds and fibers and cut out balls from the pulp with a melon baller. Set pumpkin shell aside.

Cut peeled onions into strips and peeled garlic into slices. Heat oil in a pan and saute onions and garlic for a few minutes. Add pumpkin balls and saute briefly. Add garam masala and ginger, mix well. Add broth and simmer for 15 minutes.

Whisk yogurt with cornstarch. Rinse and slice scallions. Add yogurt mixture to the soup simmer briefly. Add shrimp and cook for 1 minute. Season with salt and sprinkle with scallions. Pour soup into hollowed pumpkin shell and serve.
