- 800 grams Brussels sprouts
- 75 grams sugar
- 125 milliliters White vinegar (alternatively Brant wine vinegar 5%)
- 1 tsp peppercorns
- ½ Tbsp salt
- 2 tsps Dill seed
Preparation

Remove the outer leaves from the sprouts and cut off the stalk end. Rinse and drain.
Boil up 500 ml of water (approximately 2 cups) in a pot with the sugar, the vinegar, peppercorns, salt and dill seeds. Add the sprouts and cook for 4-6 minutes until al dente.

Transfer the sprouts to hot-rinsed glass jars and fill with the liquid until the sprouts are completely covered.
Close the jars and leave to cool standing upside down.
