- 14 ozs Spaghetti
- 2 cups peas (frozen, thawed)
- 2 Red onions (finely chopped)
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 1 cup Bacon (cut into pieces)
- ⅜ cup dry white wine
- ½ tsp lemon zest

Preparation steps
1.
Cook the pasta in a large pan in plenty of boiling salted water until al dente. Add the peas for the last 7 minutes.
2.
Fry the onion in a frying pan in hot butter until translucent. Add the bacon and fry for 1-2 minutes. Deglaze with the wine and add 1-2 tbsp of pasta water. Add the lemon zest and season with salt and ground black pepper.
3.
Drain the pasta and peas in a colander and stir in. Divide between bowls and served topped with coarsely ground black pepper and coarse sea salt.
