0.3 gram Saffron
2 Tbsps lemon juice
1 fresh lemon (juiced)
4 ripe Pear (such as Williams Christ)

Preparation steps

1.

Combine white wine with about 250 ml (approximately 1 cup) of water, sugar, saffron and lemon juice. Bring to a boil. Peel pears, core and place into syrup.

2.

Cover and remove from heat, cool until lukewarm. Place pears into bowls. Drizzle with syrup and serve immediately.
