3 red Bell pepper
1 onion
1 garlic clove
2 Tbsps olive oil
400 grams Tomatoes (canned)
600 milliliters Tomato juice
100 milliliters dry white wine
2 bay leaves
1 Tbsp ground paprika (sweet)
1 tsp sugar
salt
freshly ground peppers
Nutmeg (freshly ground)
100 milliliters Whipped cream
1 Tbsp Juniper berries

Preparation steps

Trim the peppers, rinse and cut into large pieces. Peel the onion and garlic and chop finely. Cook in hot oil. Add the peppers and cook briefly. Strain and add tomatoes, pour in the tomato juice and the wine, add the bay leaves and simmer for about 10 minutes. Season with the paprika, sugar, salt, pepper and nutmeg.

Beat the cream until semi-rigid. Coarsely grind the juniper berries.

To serve, pour the soup into bowls and garnish with a dab of cream and juniper berries.
