Preparation steps

Preheat the oven 180°C (approximately 350°F) . Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.

Beat the butter, sugar and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla and mix well. Stir in the flour and baking powder and mix until smooth. Fold in the chopped peanuts.

Drop the dough by the teaspoonful about 5 cm (approximately 2 inches) apart onto the prepared baking sheets. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until golden brown. Remove from the oven, cool on the baking sheets for about 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
