Boil the spaghetti in boiling salt water for 10-15 minutes, until al dente.

Rinse the tomatoes, remove the stalks and cut off the bottom. Blanch in boiling water for about 2 minutes. Remove from the water, peel and rinse in cold water.

Quarter the tomatoes, remove the seeds and cut into 1 cm cubes. Rinse the basil, shake dry, pluck off the leaves and cut into fine strips. Peel and cube the garlic. Saute the garlic in hot oil for 2 minutes. Add the diced tomatoes and basil. Season with salt and pepper. Saute for another 2-4 minutes. Drain the pasta and mix into the tomatoes. Toss briefly and serve garnished with parmesan.
