500 grams Beef (steak quality)
2 Tbsps Cognac
salt

2 Tbsps vegetable oil
1 sm jar Diced tomatoes
1 chili pepper
1 Bell pepper
1 can Sweet corn
400 grams Penne

Preparation steps

Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente, drain well. Rinse and pat dry meat, cut into strips, coat with Cognac and season with salt and pepper. Peel onion, halve and cut into strips. Drain meat and pat dry. Heat oil in a pan and brown meat on all sides. Remove from the pan and set aside. Add onion to the pan and saute briefly. Add canned tomatoes and simmer for a few minutes.

Halve bell and chile peppers, remove seeds and ribs and dice finely. Add peppers to the pan and simmer, covered, for about 10 minutes on low heat. Add pasta, drained corn and meat to the pan and simmer for about 1-2 minutes or until everything is heated through. Season with salt and pepper and arrange on plates. Serve immediately.
