- 100 grams Date
- Juice (of 1/2 lime)
- 2 tsps honey (Or maple syrup)
- 2 slices white bread
- 1 egg (medium-sized)
- 4 Tbsps milk
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 40 grams butter
- 2 Tbsps chopped Pistachio
- a few mint

Preparation steps
1.
With a sharp knife, remove peel and pith from oranges. Cut into slices, collecting any resulting juice. Chop dates. Mix orange and lime juices with honey and pour mixture over orange slices and dates.
2.
Cut bread slices into quarters. Mix egg with milk and vanilla. Dip bread in egg mixture. Heat butter in a pan. In batches, fry bread pieces until golden-brown on both sides.
3.
Mix pistachios with orange salad. Top with mint and French toast pieces.
