400 grams dried Figs
250 grams Hazelnuts (coarsely chopped)
250 grams Whole wheat flour
2 tsps baking soda
2 tsps cinnamon
200 grams raisins
300 grams cane sugar
4 eggs
250 milliliters Corn oil

Preparation steps

1.

Chop figs. Mix flour with baking soda, cinnamon, sugar, figs and raisins in a bowl.

Beat eggs until foamy and then gradually beat in oil. Mix with fig mixture and pour into a deep, greased baking dish. Smooth and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (approximately 350°F) for 45-50 minutes. Remove and cool. Cut into pieces, dust with powdered sugar and serve.
