- 1 Puff pastry dough (300 grams, refrigerated)
- 80 grams butter
- 250 grams Plum butter
- 2 Tbsps lemon juice
- 50 grams chopped Walnut
- 50 grams chopped Hazelnuts
- ½ tsp cinnamon

Preparation steps

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Melt the butter. Mix the plum butter with the lemon juice, walnuts, hazelnuts and cinnamon.
Roll out the puff pastry and brush with about half of the butter. Spread the plum butter mixture over the rolled pastry leaving a small margin. Roll up the puff pastry from the wider edge and cut the roll into 2 cm (approximately ¾ inches) thick slices to form the pinwheels. Place the pinwheels on the baking sheet and brush with the remaining butter.

Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (fan: 180°C, gas mark 3) (approximately 400°F) for about 20 minutes until golden brown. Remove the baking sheet from the oven, leave the pinwheels to cool and serve.
