Moroccan Spiced Meatballs

- For the meatballs
- ½ onion
- 1 garlic clove
- 2 sprigs thyme
- 400 grams Ground lamb
- 1 egg
- salt
- 1 generous pinch cinnamon
- 1 generous pinch allspice
- ½ tsp Harissa
- vegetable oil (for frying)
Preparation

Peel and very finely dice the onion and garlic. Rinse thyme, pat dry and chop very finely.

Use your hands to gently combine the ground lamb with egg, onion, garlic and thyme. Season with salt, cinnamon, allspice and harissa. Carefully form the ground lamb mixture into small balls. Sauté in a greased pan over high heat until golden brown on all sides. Place a toothpick in each meatball to serve as an appetizer.
