- ½ Watermelon (about 1 kg)
- ½ honeydew melon
- ½ Cantaloupe
- 1 (whole) Lime
- 300 grams sugar
- powdered sugar (for dusting)

Preparation steps

Cut the watermelon into quarters and cut one quarter into thin slices. Cut the rest of the watermelon and the other melons with a melon baller into different sized balls. Arrange the melon slices on four plates and place the melon balls on top.

Remove the lime zest with a zester and sprinkle over the melon. Squeeze the juice from lime. Bring the sugar with 300 ml (approximately 1 1/4 cups) of water and the lime juice to a boil and boil until the mixture is thick and syrupy. Cool slightly and drizzle over the melon salad. Dust with powdered sugar and serve.
