Preparation steps

1.

Cook the linguine in boiling alted water until al dente. Peel and finely dice the onion and garlic. Heat the oil in a pan, and sauté both. Add the canned tomatoes and their juice to the pan, then crush the tomatoes. Mix in the cream, season to taste with salt and pepper, and simmer for 5 minutes.

Rinse the basil, pat dry, and finely chop. Mix into the sauce. Drain the pasta, then mix into the sauce. 

3.

Serve garnished with Parmesan cheese.
