Lavender Lemonade

- 5 ozs lemon juice (approximately 6 - 7 lemons)
- 3 Tbsps (organic, grated) Lemon peel
- 4 ozs sugar
- 2 (organic) lemons
- 12 Ice cubes
- 2 tsps dried Lavender
- fresh Lavender (for decoration)
Pour the lemon juice into a bowl along with the zest, dried lavender, and 10 ounces of cold water (approximately 1 1/4 cups) and let it sit overnight, covered.
Boil the sugar into a syrup with 10 ounces of water (approximately 1 1/4 cups) and allow to cool.
Strain the lemon juice into a bowl through a sieve and add the sugar syrup. Mix well and pour into four glasses.
Rinse the lemon in hot water and cut into thin slices. Arrange the lemon slices with ice cubes in the glasses and serve the lemonade garnished with lavender flowers.
