40 grams Currants
12 Apricot
3 Tbsps olive oil

Preparation steps

1.

Peel the onions and cut into small cubes. Cut the lamb into bite-sized cubes. Heat the oil in a pan and brown the meat in portions on all sides until golden brown.

Then add onions and cook until translucent. Season with spices and add the currants.

Cover and cook over low heat for about 1 hour. In between, pour in some water.

Meanwhile, rinse the apricots, remove the pit and quarter. Add half the apricots into the pan, stir everything together and season well.

5.

Simmer for another 30 minutes.

6.

Add the rest of the apricots 10 minutes before the end of cooking into the pot, no longer stirring, as the apricots disintegrate otherwise.

7.

Serve with couscous (prepare according to package instructions).
