- For the cookies
- ⅔ cup butter
- ⅔ cup caster sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 ripe Banana (chopped)
- 2 ½ cups self-rising flour
- 3 Tbsps plain Yogurt
- For the icing
- 1 ¼ cups powdered sugar
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- water (if needed)

Preparation steps
1.
Heat the oven to 180°C (160° fan) 350°F gas 4. Line 2 baking trays with non-stick baking paper.
2.
Beat the butter and sugar in a mixing bowl until creamy. Beat in the egg until smooth, then beat in the yoghurt.
3.
Sift the flour and mix well.
4.
Drop small spoonfuls, well apart onto the baking trays.
5.
Bake for 10-15 minutes untill risen and golden. Cool on the trays, then place on a wire rack to cool completely.
6.
For the icing: sift the icing sugar into a bowl and gradually stir in the lemon juice and water until the mixture is smooth and thick.
7.
Drizzle over the biscuits and leave to set.
