Rinse carrots and leek. Peel carrots and cut into thin slices. Separate leek into individual leaves.

Cut vegetables into heart shapes and cook about 5 minutes in the broth. Cook pasta in a pot of boiling salted water until al dente. Drain, and add pasta to the hot broth. Season with salt and pepper and serve garnished with parsley.
