Preparation steps

1.

For the vegetables, rinse and trim the bell pepper and cut into strips. Peel the onions and cut into rings. Mix both with the oil and vinegar and season with salt, pepper and oregano.

Place in a broiler pan and gently grill for about 10 minutes.

2.

For the burger, soak the bun in lukewarm water.

Peel and finely chop the shallots and fry in some oil. Add the chopped parsley and thyme and allow to cool slightly. Mix into the ground beef, along with the egg, expressed bread, paprika, mustard and ketchup and breadcrumbs. Knead everything together to create a pliable dough (not too soft). Season heavily with salt and pepper.

Shape into 4 patties and broil on the grill on each side for 3-4 minutes.

3.

Cut the rolls and toast the cut sides briefly on the broiler. Drizzle the bottom of each with barbecue sauce and place a burger on top. Add the vegetables and put on the lid.

Serve immediately.
