Ingredients
Ham, Celery and Apple Pizza
- Ingredients
- 12 ozs Sour cream
- 7 Tbsps
- 5 Tbsps olive oil
- salt
- 10 ½ ozs Whole wheat flour (plus more for dusting)
- 3 tsps Baking powder
- 2 small Apple
- 2 stalks Celery
- 5 Tbsps grainy Mustard
- 4 ozs Emmentaler cheese
- 4 ozs cooked ham (thinly sliced)
- ½ bunch Chives
Stir together approximately 3/4 cup sour cream, the milk, 4 tablespoons oil, and 1/2 teaspoon salt in a bowl.
Mix together flour and baking powder, then add to the sour cream-oil mixture and knead with dough hook of a mixer until smooth.
Rinse apples, wipe dry, quarter and core. Cut apples into thin slices. Rinse celery, pat dry and cut into thin slices. Heat oil in a skillet and cook celery until softened, about 2 minutes. Add apple slices and cook until crisp-tender. Allow to cool slightly.
Mix remaining sour cream with the mustard and season with salt. Grate the Emmentaler cheese.
Divide the dough into 4 portions on a lightly floured surface and roll out each into an oval, about 10 x 6 inches.
Place 2 rounds on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Dividing evenly, spread sour cream mixture over pizzas, then top with apple mixture and ham slices (cut or tear ham if necessary to fit).
Top ovals with grated cheese and bake on bottom rack of preheated oven at 450°F for 15-20 minutes.
Meanwhile, rinse the chives, shake dry and cut into rings.
Remove pizzas on parchment from baking sheet. Repeat with remaining dough ovals and toppings to bake 4 more pizzas. Sprinkle baked pizzas with chives and serve hot from the oven.

Healthy, because
Whole wheat flour, dairy products, and ham provide the juicy celery and apple pizza with an abundance of different B vitamins, which fulfil their metabolic tasks particularly well. Without them, the body would quickly become exhausted, and it would hardly be able to convert food components into energy.

If you like it crunchy, mix 2 tablespoons of chopped walnuts or sunflower seeds into the dough of the pizza.
