Preparation steps

Rinse the fennel, cut in half. Cut off the hard part of the stalk, but leave some so that the leaves are still held together. Slice lengthwise, in about 5 mm (1/4 inch) thick slices. Brush with a little oil and season with salt and pepper. Cook on the hot grill for 6-8 minutes turning occasionally.

To serve: Place on a plate, drizzle with the remaining oil and serve sprinkled with parsley.
